Veterans Awards 2024
The United Services Mess Cardiff is extremely proud to announce that it has been shortlisted as a finalist for the prestigious Wales Veterans Awards 2024.
The award ceremony will take place on 3 July 2024 at the Vale Resort.
The mess is extremely proud of its history and what it stands for in supporting the Armed Forces Community through the provision of a service style mess premises in the heart of Cardiff. The mess maintains the ethos of a service mess and provides an excellent location for comradeship.
There is nowhere like it that hosts regular events to commemorate key dates on the military calendar. This year so far, the mess has ran a very successful Burn’s supper, held dinners to commemorate St David’s day, the Falklands War, the Dambusters raid. Forthcoming events include a dinner to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the Battle of Britain and the 10th anniversary for the end of combat operations in Afghanistan. In November this year, the mess will continue its tradition by holding the 107th annual dinner on Remembrance Weekend.
The mess is delighted to have been shortlisted in the Wales Veterans Awards 2024 and sends its congratulations to all other nominees.
